About Us

Commercial & Legal (C&L) is South Australia's leading Property and Projects Law Firm. Beginning in 2009 as a property focused law firm, we have grown into a medium-scale firm with 30 staff comprising of orientated lawyers and experienced conveyancers. We advise on various types of Property and Project matters, from small to large, including Australia's largest ever hotel transaction. Our close-knit team is well attuned to the South Australian real estate market, including both commercial and residential property. Our reputation for our dedication and genuine passion for our clients is well known as we are committed to projects from start to finish.

We take pride in providing our law clerks with a genuine and hands-on experience. Our clerks work closely with all team members from lawyers and conveyancers to the administration team, this provides clerks with important exposure to the real life workings of a commercial law firm. We aim to employ one graduate a year from these placements.  Since the inception of our clerkship program in 2017, we have kick started the careers for 9 of our successful clerks with employment.
