CROWN SOLICITOR'S OFFICE - aTTORNEY-GENERAL'S DEPARTMENT

About Us

The Crown Solicitor’s Office (the Crown) is the dedicated provider of legal services to the State Government of South Australia including its various agencies and entities. It’s fair to say that if you think of any major initiative which has taken place, is about to take place, or is scheduled to commence in this State, it has probably involved the expertise of the Crown. The Crown is the largest provider of legal services in South Australia. Over 250 people (majority of which are lawyers) work in the Crown, providing advice and representation across multiple specialist areas. The department is the biggest employer of legal practitioners in the State and works across a very diverse range of areas of law.
